Syracuse, N.Y -Le Moyne College has hired a new men's basketball head coach.
Nate Champion will be the ninth head coach in the program's history, replacing Pat Beilien who left to coach at Niagara University.
Champion is a Dolphins Alumni. He played at Lemoyne from 2010 to 2014. When he was with the Dolphins, they went to the NCAA Championships for the first time in 17 years.
Champion also spent the last two seasons serving as the assistant head coach at Florida Southern College.
