Albany, N.Y. - A new bill is being proposed at the State Capitol that would require teachers to learn how to use EpiPens.
The small devices are used to help people who are suffering from severe allergic reactions. Experts say more kids are coming to school each day with allergies to things like food, insects, and even medicine, so training teachers how to use EpiPens could save lives.
The first stop for the legislation will be the Assembly Education Committee.
