The fate of Woodstock 50 is in the hands of a judge.
A state Supreme Court hearing is scheduled for today. In court papers, Woodstock 50 is demanded its former financial backer, Dentsu Aegis to return nearly $17.8 million “in misappropriated” funds.
The hearing is the latest development between Woodstock 50 and the festival’s former financial partner. Last month the partner pulled its support and declared the 50th anniversary concert was canceled. The promoter said they did not have the right to do so.
