Albany, N.Y. - The State Senate is expected to advance a bill that will expand sports betting.
The sports gambling bill will be voted on in a Senate committee today. If it passes, the bill will then move to the Senate Finance Committee.
The legislation will allow casinos to set up online platforms for sports wagering.
Supporters hope to have the new law approved by the time this year's legislative session ends in June.
