East Syracuse, N.Y. - An investigation into a fire that nearly destroyed an East Syracuse home continues this morning.
Fire crews were called to the Washburn Drive at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. Fire crews had the fire out is a matter of minutes but fire officials say the house was still severely damaged and could be a complete loss.
Police have confirmed that they have been called to the home numerous times. Investigators are stopping short of saying if they suspect the cause of the fire to be suspicious
Although nobody was hurt, a dog died in the blaze.
