Syracuse Common Council Approves 2020 Budget

Syracuse, N.Y. - The city council voted today to approve the city budget, for the second year in a row.

Mayor Ben Walsh says, the budget will improve public safety, city services and neighborhoods and is being enacted as proposed.

The budget also includes the $3 million reduction in projected reliance on reserves compared to last year. Good and bad news for homeowner, tthere will be a tax increase, but its plan is to stay under the tax cap.
