Westmoreland, N.Y. - A man is recovering following an accident in Oneida County.
Deputies say it happened yesterday afternoon on Bartlett Road in Westmoreland. The driver, 18-year-old Dakota Collins, lost control of his vehicle after it hit a ditch. The car then slammed into a telephone pole. He's now being treated for serious injuries after being airlifted to a Syracuse hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
