Jury In Fitch Street Fire Case Has Not Reached A Verdict

Syracuse, N.Y. - The jury in the trial of Charles Dubois, the man accused of setting a Fitch Street house fire that killed his mother, brother, sister, and her son, in that fire in April of 2018 is heading home for the weekend.

They started iliberating around 2 this afternoon.

They requested to see Interrogation video of police and DuBois again, and to see police camera footage again.

Yesterday the defense seemed to have dropped a bomb shell on the trial, challenging the accreditation of the Syracue Fire Investigator.

Prosecutors say that the lapse is a common mistake.

During closing arguments today, lawyers for Charles DuBois showed video of him running to the fire scene, showing concern.

They will reconvene on Monday.
