Syracuse, N.Y. - Closing Arguments in the Trial of Charles DuBois are expected to begin today.
The defense was able to discredit the Syracuse fire investigator that determined that the Fitch Street fire was an arson in court yesterday. Lawyers were able to get him to admit that he does not have an accreditation to be an arson investigator that he has claimed to have had. The certification is not necessary for him to be a afire investigator and is able to work without it. The Investigator also said that he did not collect any physical evidence.
DuBois is accused of killing his mother, brother, sister, and one-year-old nephew, in the April of 2018 fire.
