Phoenix Police Increasing Patrols After Student Approached

Phoenix, N.Y. - Phoenix police are increasing patrols in the village after a man tried to convince a girl to get into his van.

A high school student told officers a man driving a gray van approached her while she was heading to class yesterday. The man asked the girl if she wanted a ride twice, but she refused.

He's described as being a white male wearing a white hat and possibly around 60-years-old.
