Syracuse, N.Y. - There is concern this morning on University Hill following a rash of violent armed robberies.
Friday night, two SUNY ESF students were robbed in Oakwood Cemetery. The two students report being approached by 5 men, with one suspect displaying what appeared to be a handgun, and others reportedly with knives.
Earlier this month, a 15-year-old girl was arrested for a February Robbery of a group of SU Students. Police say the girl pulled a gun on a group of women and pistol-whipped one of them during the robbery on Ackerman Avenue.
Campus Police from both ESF and SU are urging students to be cautious during the last few weeks of the semester.
