Madison County , N.Y. - Madison County residents are advised that there is a Verizon telephone outage that is affecting the City of Oneida and surrounding areas involving the seven digit telephone lines for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Control and 911 Center administrative lines.
911 service is not affected.
Resident are urged to dial 911 for all calls for police, fire and EMS assistance. First Responders are urged to use the County radios system for all communications with the 911 Center. There is no restoration time as of yet.
