Wood Gets Life Without Parole

Syracuse, N.Y. - The man who admitted to executing two Chili's employees has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Onondaga County Court Judge Stephen Dougherty handed down the sentence William Wood to life without parole for killing Stephen Gudknecht and Kristopher Hicks during a robbery.

"I am sorry for what I've done," said Wood in court apologizing to the Gudknecht and Hicks families "I'm willing to accept any punishment."

Now, Attorney General William Barr has authorized US attorneys to seek the death penalty after Wood was indicted by a federal grand jury.
