Syracuse Man Bites Police Dog And Punches Officer

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man has been arrested for fighting with police and a police dog.

Police responded to a burglary call around 1am Sunday at the S&S Infinite Mobile. They found three men standing around and an empty Apple iPhone box, and ear buds near them.

Police tried to arrest 30 year old Andre Jordan he fought back, elbowing and punching the officer in the face.

He also choked and bit the police dog.

Jordan is charged with third-degree assault, resisting arrest and attempted killing or injuring of a police animal.
