Town of Trenton, N.Y. - An Oneida County farmer died as his barn burned.
Yesterday afternoon fire crews responded to a barn fire on State Route 365 in the town of Trenton.
93 year old Henry Synakowski was in his house when he was told of the fire in one of his barns behind his home.
He was evacuated from the house by family members and collapsed at the scene. Attempts were made to revive him but were unsuccessful.
Investigators still looking into the cause of the fire.
