Syracuse, N.Y. - People concerned about a loved one dying from an opioids overdose can learn tonight what to do when that overdose comes.
Residents in Onondaga County can begin free community narcan training sessions tonight.
The first of several sessions will be held at the North Syracuse Public Library at 6:30 p.m.
County Officials say that kits will be given away to those that are abusing opioids, those that are in constant contact with abusers, or those with no insurance.
Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon joined Dave Allen Thurday morning to talk about the event.
