State Testing Delayed For Some Students

The company that runs the English Common Core testing for the state says it is aware of glitches with the computer testing and is working with local districts and the state education department.

Questor Assessment reported delays for some students submitting the test by computer. Several districts in the Syracuse area and other parts of the state had problems yesterday. Questor says it has extra staff in place to respond to the delays.

A similar problem occurred last year, with students unable to upload their test answers.

All computer-based testing today has been cancelled. The testing will resume tomorrow.
