Man Who Shot And Killed Wife And State Trooper Found Guilty

Watertown, NY. - A jury in Watertown has found the man who killed his wife and a New York State Trooper guilty on all 52 counts he was charged with.

Justin Walters was accused of murdering his wife, Nichole, and Trooper Joel Davis during a domestic violence call at their home in the town of Theresa in July of 2017.

Prosecutors say Justin Walters tortured his wife, shooting her 13 times causing her death. He shot and killed Trooper Davis when he responded to the 911 call.

Walter's lawyers argued that he was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and alcoholism.
