Jamesville- Dewitt Student Pleads Guilty To Strangulation

Syracuse, N.Y. - A former Jamesville-DeWitt basketball star pleaded guilty today of strangling a young woman in July of last year.

Teleak Robinson who was 16 at the time, was accused of a string of crimes in 2018, but pleaded guilty to the top charge today. He will spend weekends in jail, serve five years on probation and have his record sealed.

As this strangulation case was in its early stages, Robinson was also charged with robbery in September and stealing a car in December.

The robbery and stolen property charges were satisfied by Robinson’s plea to the strangulation charge.
