Laurie Kellogg Will Be Free Soon

Laurie Kellogg, the Seneca County woman who was convicted of killling her husband will soon be free.

According to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, a parole board ordered that Kellogg be freed by April 16 after serving 26 years. Her husband, Malcolm "Bruce" Kellogg, was shot to death at the couple's cottage on Cayuga Lake in June of 1991.

Kellogg, and four teens were charged in the killing. One of the teens, Denver McDowell, pleaded guilty to shooting Bruce Kellogg and testified that Laurie seduced him into killing her husband.

Kellogg claimed her husband abused her.
