Syracuse, N.Y. - The investigation continues into what started a deadly fire in Syracuse.
Officials say 58-year-old James Sauta died after being pulled from the Shuart Avenue home Monday morning. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the flames. The fire chief says there were no working smoke alarms in the home.
The cause of the fire isn't believed to be suspicious.
The fire was the second of a pair of house fires that kept Syracuse Firefighters busy Monday morning. The fire on Midland Ave. that an hour before the tragic blaze. The cause of it remains under investigation.
