Trial Date For Denny's Shooter Set For June

Syracuse,N.Y. - The trial for a man accused of shooting three people inside a Denny’s has been set.

Justus Holmes' trial date has been set for June 24.

Holmes, is facing charges of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Investigators say Holmes went into the Salina Denny's with a 9 mm handgun, confronting a woman and two men who were sitting near each other and shot at them. Its believed the woman was an ex girlfriend he had an argument with.

Deputies say he shot 10 rounds.

All three victims, Jerry Massey, 24, Maurice Jones, 32, and Dillon Porter, 24, survived.

Holmes, who has pleaded not guilty, is facing up to 50 years behind bars.
