Cortlandville, N.Y. - New York State Police are investigating an accident that took the life of a Baldwinsville man this morning in Cortlandville.
A little before 7, an ambulance responding to a call, was traveling southbound on Route 81 with their lights on and was slowing to make a u-turn. A car driven by a 68 year old man was in the passing lane when he struck the ambulance on the drivers side, lost control and struck the guiderail on the right side of the road.
The man was taken to a Cortland hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name has not been released and the investigation
