Utica, N.Y. - A former Utica College student will spend the next 12 years in state prison for calling in terroristic threats last year.
23 year old Fahrudin Omerovic, was found guilty in December of two counts of making a terroristic threat.
On March 5 and March 6 he called in several threats to Utica College, placing the school on lockdown for several hours and causing widespread panic. Investigators say he used an app to disguise his voice and phone number.
