Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff arrested a man who broke into a house at 3am waking up the homeowner.
23 year old Jakim Grant of Syracuse was in the process of breaking into a house on Delmore Place in Lyncourt when the homeowner discovered him.
Grant fled but deputies were able to track his footsteps all the way back to his own house.
He is being charged with attempted burglary in this instance but also hes being charged for burglary that took place in October.
