Syracuse, N.Y. - An 87-year-old Oswego County man who was thrown from his car after crashing into a County snowplow has died.
Monday afternoon 87 year old Bert Hyland of Bernhards Bay was driving on Route 37 when he lost control,on the snow-covered road, slammed into the plow and was thrown from the car.
His car continued and slammed into another. The driver of that car revived only minor injuries.
Hyland was taken to Upstate University Hospital with serious internal injuries. Authorities say he died yesterday.
