Inner Harbor Shysters Remain Free While Appeal Continues

A former aide to Governor Cuomo won't be heading to prison this week after all:

Joseph Percoco was expected to start serving his sentence Friday, but he can remain free while his conviction is being appealed.

He was sentenced in September to six years after he was found guilty of taking more than 300-thousand-dollars in bribes from businesses that wanted to do business with New York State. Co-defendant and Syracuse-based businessman Steve Aiello is also granted a stay.

Both claim there were legal issues with evidence presented by the prosecution.
