Syracuse, N.Y. - A son has been arrested in the death of his mother yesterday.
54 year old Valerie Crowder was found dead in her home at 144 Holland Street.
After an investigation police were able to arrest the murderer, 27 year old Darrien Howard, who is Crowder's son.
Howard was found and arrested in Endicott, N.Y. and charged with 2nd degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
