Home Where Two Boys Were Murdered Is Demolished

Syracuse, N.Y. - An apartment building where two Syracuse boys were killed has been demolished.

Crews knocked down the building on John Street yesterday. Back in October, 12-year-old James Springer the Third died after being shot outside the address. Two months later, 16-year-old Antonio Gullotto was murdered inside the building.

In the past, police had responded to the property several times to investigate robberies, fights and shootings.

The City recently was given control of the property after a drawn-out court battle with the property's absentee Australian landlord.
