Oswego, N.Y. - State Officials are weighing the options of a complete shutdown of 81 North of Route 104 in Oswego to the Canadian Border.
As of now tractor trailers and buses will be banned beginning at noon.
The subzero temperatures are going to kick on the Lake Effect Snow Machine. Areas around Watertown are predicted to be hammered with about 5 Feet of snow.
Snow measured in feet will fall in areas of Northern Oswego as well as Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
Meantime, Tractor trailers and commercial buses have been banned from the Thruway in Western New York where they are expected to see several feet of snow. The I-90 restriction extends from the 390 Exit in Rochester all they way to the Pennsylvania border.
