Town of Dewitt, N.Y. - Dewitt Police are looking for help in catching a jewelry store thief.
January 16th a man entered the Kay Jewelers store on Erie Blvd. He was looking at gold necklaces and bracelets. The clerk allowed him to try them on. A short time late the man ran from the store wearing $4,398 hundred dollars worth of gold.
He's described as a white male wearing a Green Bay Packers winter hat, dark-colored jacket with light colored hoodie, blue jeans and black Nike sneakers with a white “swoosh”.
