Forestport, N.Y. - Friday evening a little before 11 New York State Police responded to a snowmobile crash on Spruce Road in the town of Forestport.
They discovered that a snowmobile being driven by 45-year-old William H. Bain IV from Boonville, NY was southbound on Spruce Road when he struck a tree on the east side of the trailhead.
Mr. Bain was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
