Another Utica Grandmother Attacked: In Critical Condition

Utica, N.Y -  Yesterday Utica police were called to a residence for domestic abuse.

When police went to speak with the woman victim they found her apartment on fire and she suffering from cuts and burns. The 68-year-old victim said she was attacked with a knife by her grandson, 23-year-old A.J. Anderson.  Anderson then set the apartment on fire.

The female was taken from the residence by officers. The Utica Fire Department responded to the scene to treat the victim and put out the fire.

Police arrested Anderson early this morning. His grandmother is listed in critical condition at a Syracuse Hospital.
