Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh will give his second State of the City tonight.
Walsh is expected to highlight the accomplishments of his first year as mayor including bringing more transparency and technology to City Hall. Also expect the Mayor to discuss Syracuse's poverty, crime, and precarious finances. The Mayor is expected to unveil the "Syracuse Surge." The Governor alluded to the new initiative in his State of the State Address.
The presentation is being held at the Redhouse at City Center on South Salina Street. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Free parking is available at the City Center parking garage at 520 S. Clinton Street and at the surface lot at 484 S. Salina Street.
