Accused Sodus Farm Murderer Due In Court

Sodus, N.Y. - The man accused in the murder of a mother and her son at an apple orchard in Sodus is expected in court today.

Last month, Alberto Reyes begged a judge to intervene saying he was tricked into giving up his right to remain silent and was repeatedly threatened by interrogators. The Judge agreed to look into it and today we expect to learn whether the judge agrees with Reyes or prosecutors.

Since that court appearance, charges against Reyes have been upgraded from evidence tampering to murder in the deaths of Selena Hidalgo Calderon and her 14-month old son Owen.
