Camillus, N.Y. - The West Genesee School District says they are hiring an independent lawyer to investigate allegations that the Superintendent was having a relationship with a district employee.
Last week Dr. Chris Brown's wife posted on social media that he was having an affair with a woman who worked for the district. In an e-mail to district staff, Brown said that he is divorcing his wife, but is denying the affair.
The School Board President says they the investigation could take a few weeks to complete. Brown remains the Superintendent, but is using some vacation days to take some "personal time."
