Town of Clay, N.Y. - Onondaga Sheriff ’s have charged two people in connection with an armed robbery of 76-year-old woman in the Town of Clay.
The victim says Sunday afternoon when she was getting out of her car at her home she was approached by a man who tried to steal her purse. She fought back, the suspect them yanked a necklace off her neck, ran to a car and fled the scene.
Deputies have arrested 48-year-old Claudio Mojica and driver of the vehicle, Mojica’s girlfriend, 25-year-old Krista White both of Syracuse. They are charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and other drug charges.
