Utica Man Says He Chopped Up Grandmother "In The Name Of Jesus"

Utica, N.Y. - The man accused of killing his grandmother and their landlord says that he chopped them up for "in the name of Jesus Christ."

That's what 29-year-old Naythen Aubain shouted reporters shrouded in a spit guard during his perp walk into court last night.  He was arraigned on two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of 90-year-old Katerine Aubain and  87-year-old Jane Wentka.

Inside the courtroom, Aubain interrupted the judge numerous times to admit to killing and dismembering his grandmother and their landlord.

Aubain had been on parole after serving five years in prison for robbery. While in prison, he was convicted of promoting prison contraband after being found with metal weapons.

Officials say they believe he has some kind of mental illness.
