Albion, N.Y. - State Police are investigating a two-car fatal crash that occurred this morning on State Route 13 in the town of Albion.
Around 7:30 a.m a Ford Explorer was traveling westbound attempting to pass another car when he lost control, spun hit the other car and left the road slamming head-on into a tree.
The Explorer then caught fire with the driver trapped inside.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other car was uninjured.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending an autopsy.
