Syracuse Police Asking For Public's Help In Oakwood Ave Homicide

Syracuse, N.Y. -  Syracuse Police are asking for help in a homicide investigation. 

Wednesday, December 19, 2018, around 9:30 Police responded to Eddies Eagle Market, located on Oakwood Ave. for a call of a shooting. 

A masked suspect entered the store with a handgun and encountered the employee and victim, Asim Musa, 41 years of age. During an altercation, Musa was shot and pronounced dead a short time later. 

The suspect can be seen wearing a light colored face mask, as well as a dark hooded sweatshirt with "Fowler Falcons" on the front, and "Class of 2011" on the back.
