New York - Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is joining Governor Cuomo in New York City today.
The appearance comes as the governor pushes to pass the Reproductive Health Act in New York. Under state law, abortions after 24 weeks are illegal unless a woman's life is in danger. The law also says abortion is a felony, while self-abortion is a misdemeanor.
The Reproductive Health Act would repeal the part of the legislation criminalizing abortion and add a new section to the Public Health Law.
