Syracuse Police Arrest Both Parties In Domestic Disturbance

A domestic disturbance Christmas Eve ended with Syracuse police accusing both parties of assault and other charges.

Officers were sent to West Calthorp Avenue at around 8:20 pm and spoke with Alicia Brito who told them Daquan Manuel, her child's father, had punched her in the face and broke her phone.  Brito was taken to the hospital and treated for a broken nose.  Officers spoke to Manuel, who told them Brito had stabbed him during their altercation.  Manuel was also hospitalized for treatment.  Police charged Brito with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, and also charged Manuel with assault and criminal mischief.
