Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse has set a new record high for today.
The official temperature at Hancock International Airport was 63 degrees at 1.p.m. The previous record, 58 degrees, was set in 1988.
A flow of warm air from the Southeast which brought that rain last night is the reason.
But it won't last too long as cold air is heading our way and we may see freezing temps by daybreak.
