Town of Deerfield, N.Y. - A Town of Deerfield man has been arrested for sexually abusing a child.
Oneida Sheriff's arrested 77 year old Rodney Westbrook, and charged him with sexually abusing a five year old girl at his home.
Westbrook is charged with one count of sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony and currently in jail on on a $15,000.00 bail.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges against Westbrook are possible.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim against Westbrook.
The victim has been offered counseling through the child advocacy center.
