Lysander, N.Y. - National Grid crews are working to replace a Utility Pole this morning charred in an early morning crash.
A minivan erupted in flames after it crashed into a utility pole trying to avoid a deer in on River Road in Lysander. Onondaga County Sheriff Deputies say the woman went off the Eastside of the road and hit the pole. She told deputies she was trying to avoid a deer between Hicks to Doyle roads.
She was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
