Rome Police Ask Some Residents To Stay In Their Homes

Rome, N.Y. - Those living near the Windsor Mews Apartments in Rome were asked to stay in their homes for part of the morning.

The Rome Police Department says they sent an alert after an incident on North Levitt Street just after 1:00 a.m. Monday. Cops say the incident involved the report of a person with a gun.  

The warning was lifted just after 5 a.m.
