Two Arrested For Westside Food Market Robbery

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police Officers have made an arrest in robbery at the Westside Food Market, 317 S. Geddes Street.  

Tuesday night  around 6 o'clock, a store employee stated that a male tried to steal two Smirnoff Ice beverages.  When the employee tried to stop him, the male suspect identified as 33 year old Donald Cureton pulled a black handgun on him. 

Cureton left the store on foot with a female identified as 35 year old Patricia Bailey. Police found the black BB gun at Bailey's residence. 

Both have been arrested for robbery in the first degree.

There were no reported injuries in this incident
