Frank Fowler Retires Today

Syracuse, N.Y. - Frank Fowler's time at the helm of the Syracuse Police Department ends today.

The Chief is retiring after nearly three decades of service to the Department. He joined the force in 1989 and became the Chief almost a decade ago, under former Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner.

His replacement, Kenton Buckner, starts on Monday.  Most recently Buckner was the top-cop in Little Rock, Arkansas.
