Cortland, N.Y. - Absentee ballot counting continues today in the 22nd Congressional District race.
Democrat Anthony Brindisi has a 1,500 vote lead over Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney after ballots were finalized in Cortland County. Before counting began, the margin was under 1,300.
There are still thousands of absentee votes to be counted from several counties. Counting continues in Madison, Oswego, and two other counties today, as counting begins in another.
A final tally will not be known until after Thanksgiving.
