Albany, N.Y. - Low-income New Yorkers who need help staying warm this winter can start applying for HEAP benefits today.
Eligible folks may receive hundreds of dollars if they qualify. Anyone who heats their home with electricity, natural gas, oil, coal, propane, wood pellets or kerosene can get assistance.
